Paula Markley Retires From North Webster Library
NORTH WEBSTER — North Webster Community Public Library announces the retirement of Paula Markley after nine years of service.
Markley joined the library staff in Nov. 2010 as a cataloger, a position that she continued to hold throughout her tenu
Prior to joining the library staff, Markley taught fourth grade at Syracuse Elementary School for 33 years. A North Webster native, she was a member of the last graduating class of 1968 from North Webster High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in teaching from Anderson University in Anderson.
“Paula has served the North Webster Community Public Library and her community with a positive attitude and expert professionalism. She will be missed, but we wish her the best in her retirement,” stated Library Director Helen Frank.
Talking about her library service, Markley said, “Working at the library has been wonderful. The staff is fantastic and helpful. It’s the perfect place to work or spend time.”
