6:41 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, West SR 25 near South CR 1200W, Mentone. Driver: Amber M. Chavz, 40, North Old SR 15 221, Warsaw. Chavez was driving her vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $5,000.
6:37 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, West US 30 near North SR 19, Etna Green. Driver: Vanessa L. Dudley, 62, Madison Road, South Bend. Dudley was driving her vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $10,000.
12:13 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, North CR 300E near EMS T32 Lane, Leesburg/Warsaw. Driver: Shantell L. Etchason, 21, North Center Street W, North Webster. Etchason ran off the road and struck a highway sign. Damages up to $2,500.
9:51 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, East CR 1300N near North Kern Road, Syracuse. Driver: Katiana A. Deaton, 45, East Epworth Forest Road, North Webster. Deaton was driving her vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $1,000.
9:52 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, North CR 150W near West CR 350N, Warsaw. Driver: Nickolas E. Wilkins, North Dovewood Trail, Warsaw. Wilkins was driving his vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $25,000.
6:34 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, East CR 450N near Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Kenya R. Henderickson, 25, EMS B21 Lane, Pierceton. Henderickson was driving her vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $10,000.
6:27 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, South SR 15 near CR 100S, Warsaw. Driver: Mark E. Fields was driving his vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $10,000.
3:57 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, North CR 675E near East CR 500N, Warsaw. Drivers: Lyida R. Snodgrass, 20, West CR 650N 92, Pierceton; and Susanna G. Gibson, 41, East Harper Road, Leesburg. Snodgrass pulled out into traffic, did not see Gibson’s vehicle causing a collision. Damages up to $10,000.
11:37 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, West CR 200S near South SR 25, Warsaw. Driver: Larry D. Armey, 77, South CR 400 W, Warsaw. Armey was driving his vehicle when he overcorrected and collided with the embankment on the north side of the road. Damages up to $5,000.
10:33 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, West Syracuse Street near North Higbee Street, Milford. Drivers: Frank A. Perales, 37, North West Street, Milford; and Stacy M. Cline, 33, Darden Road, New Carlisle. Perales backed out of his driveway and collided with Cline’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
9:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, East CR 600S near South CR 100E, Claypool. Driver: Joshua D. Parker, 31, South CR 350E, Warsaw. Parker was driving his vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $5,000.
4:36 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, East US 30 near East Van Ness Road, Pierceton. Driver: David M. Stambaugh, 46, Graystone Circle, New Haven. Stambaugh was driving his vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $5,000.
12:36 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, South SR 13 near South CR 550E, Pierceton. Driver: Troy A. Patrick, 45, Lincolnway W, Ligonier. Patrick was driving his vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Patrick complained of pain in his elbow/lower arm. Damages up to $5,000.
2:48 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, South SR 13 near East Shoop Road, Pierceton. Driver: Chad M. Keen, 26, South Third Street, Pierceton. Keen was driving his vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $1,000.
11:19 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, East Old Road 30 near South Robinson Lake Road, Pierceton. Driver: Philip M. West, 32, South High Street, Warsaw. West was driving his vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $2,500.
8:07 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, East SR 14 near South County Farm Road, Silver Lake. Driver: Mary S. Kroner, 48, Leo Road, Leo. Kroner was driving her vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $10,000.
4:58 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, North CR 350W near West CR 200N, Warsaw. Driver: Cameron M. Johnson, 27, South SR 15, South Whitley. Johnson was driving his vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $2,500.
1:21 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, South SR 13 near East CR 500 S, Pierceton. Drivers: Robert M. Porter, 22, South CR 25W, Warsaw; and Brian B. Mikel, 65, Terrace Trail, New Paris. Porter was driving his vehicle north on SR 13. He drove through a curve and for an unknown reason drifted across the centerline, performing an opposite direction sideswipe with Mikel’s southbound vehicle. Porter suffered fatal arterial bleeding. Damages over $100,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department responded to the following accident:
4:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, South Huntington Street near East Baltimore Street, Syracuse. Drivers: Dustin J. Cloud, 30, South Kinder Drive, Syracuse; and Maynard J. Miller, 44, SR 15, New Paris. Cloud was driving his vehicle when his foot slipped off the brake in slow-moving traffic causing a collision with the rear of Miller’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accidents:
10:17 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, SR 15 near Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Driver: Andrew W. Boyer, 34, North East Street, Milford. Boyer said he swerved his vehicle to avoid a crash, lost control and damaged his front left tire on the divider curb. Damages up to $10,000.
7:35 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2283 North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Driver: Julio C. Martinez Nunez, 36, Deerfield Path, Warsaw. Martinez Nunez backed his vehicle out of a parking spot, colliding with an unoccupied parked vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
6:05 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 330 East Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Charles D. Roberts, 68, North Henry Street, Milford. Roberts was driving his vehicle out of the parking lot of Marathon Gas Station. He said he did not see any traffic, but collided with two pedestrians. Mickila L. Heinfield, 29, East Market Street, Warsaw suffered minor bleeding on her face. Courtney Godwin, 16, 2nd Street, Oswego complained of pain in her elbow/lower arm. Damages up to $2,500.
10:23 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2920 Frontage Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Ruth M. Steffen, 25, West CR 950S, Akron; and Katheryn I Heeter, 45, Lake City Highway 12, Warsaw. Steffen backed out of a parking spot and collided with Heeter’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
7:56 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, South Columbia Street near Bass Street. Driver: Paul E. Keebler, 53, Big Horn Place, Fort Wayne. Keebler backed his truck and trailer into a parked unoccupied vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
3:59 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, SR 25 near South High Street, Warsaw. Drivers: John E. Banner, 82, South SR 19, Peru; and Julie B. Patten, 54, South Hunters Ridge, Warsaw. Banner was driving his vehicle south on High Street when he turned right on to SR 25 colliding with the front left side of Patten’s vehicle Damages up to $2,500.
