WARSAW — Three entities are working together to host a workshop for local contractors.

The morning-long workshop will be on Feb. 14 and starts at 7 a.m.

Registration for the event is open NOW and can be done online through eventbrite. General admission is free. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

The program is in partnership with Kosciusko County Soil and Water Conservation District and Kosciusko County Area Planning, the City of Warsaw Stormwater Utility.

Representatives of the three groups determined that hosting an annual workshop that provided education, open discussion, and resources would greatly impact our erosion and sediment control efforts for the county, said Ryan Workman, the MS4 Stormwater Coordinator for the city.

The Kosciusko Contractor Workshop engages and encourages industry to perform environmental practices that positively impact Kosciusko County’s water quality. 

The workshop is an opportunity for businesses or individuals involved in construction to learn from professionals about conservation, erosion and sediment control, water quality, and stormwater.
