Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
5:45 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, North CR 475E, north of East McKenna Road, Warsaw. Driver: Angela S. Dillon, 58, EMS B33 Lane, Warsaw. Dillon’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
8:15 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, SR 19, south of West CR 600N, Etna Green. Driver: Cynthia L. Charles. 61, State Street, Etna Green. Charles said a large object appeared on the roadway and she realized it was a horse. The horse ran into the side of Charles’ vehicle. The horse continued running south in the northbound lanes on SR 19. Damage up to $2,500.
2:47 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, North CR 800W, south of West CR640N, Warsaw. Drivers: Theresa A. Stickle, 53, Bulkand Street, Cassopolis, Mich.; and Pamela J. Donaldson, 62, Randolph Street, Nappanee. Stickle reported she thought she was lost and needed to turn around so she made a U turn on CR 640N. She stated she did not see anyone coming so she pulled back onto North CR 800W and collided with Donaldson’s vehicle. Stickle and a passenger in her vehicle, Geraldine Whitmyer, 69, Bulkand Street, Cassopolis, Mich., complained of general pain to their upper bodies but refused medical attention at the scene. Donaldson complained of upper body and left wrist pain but declined medical attention at the scene. Damage up to $10,000.
3:48 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, ExcaliburPlace, Cromwell. Drivers: Tristen Terry, 34, Excalibur Place, Cromwell; and Michael J. Fowler, 32, Kiser Lake Drive, North Webster. Terry was armed and fleeing law enforcement. He went off the road o Excalibur Place just north of King Arthur Trail. When Terry’s vehicle slowed down, Fowler’s vehicle rear-ended Terry’s vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
6:55 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, Lake Street, north of Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Kara S. Lingg, 34, Packerton Road, Warsw; and Reina H. Song, 26, Underwood Avenue, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Lingg ran a red light and her vehicle struck Song’s vehicle. Song suffered a head injury and was examined by medics at the scene. Damage up to $25,000.
10:14 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Gage T. Wade, 18, Maple Grove Drive, Warsaw; and Donna J. Woodruff, 67, Old Road 30, Warsaw. Wade reportedly failed to stop at a red light and his vehicle struck Woodruff’s vehicle at the intersection. Damage up to $25,000.
5:09 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, SR 15, north of Poor Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Tristan D. Bender, 18, CR 36, Goshen; and Lisa D. Joy, 57, Wooster Road, Pierceton. Bender’s vehicle rear-ended Joy’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
3:20 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, US 30, east of South CR 250E, Warsaw. Drivers: Jason G. Helton, 42, Walnut Street, Claypool and Vince D. Miller, 45, Herman Avenue, Akron, Ohio. The vehicles collided as Helton was attempting to merge into the left lane due to a road closure. Damage up to $5,000.
