Kniesly Taking Talents To Ancilla
NAPPANEE – Monday’s volleyball signing at NorthWood High School proved that hard work can pay off.
While not a regular in the NorthWood volleyball rotation as the team made a regional final appearance this fall, senior Grace Kniesly still put in the work. That effort afforded Kniesly the chance to play at the next level, signing to continue her volleyball career at Ancilla College.
Kniesly appeared in 25 matches for the 32-4 Panthers this season, recording 45 digs, 44 serves received, 28 kills and 17 aces. As one of five seniors, Kniesly helped NorthWood to its first Northern Lakes Conference outright title since 1997, then winning its first sectional championship since 2015.
Kniesly plans to major in animal science at Ancilla.
The Chargers were 9-24 this past season. Coached by Bruce Johnson, Ancilla is a member of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association.
