Officers with the North Webster Police Department Investigated the following accident:
7:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, North SR 13 near East CR 800N, North Webster. Driver: Randall K. Stahly, 64, North Fascination Way, Cromwell. Stahly was driving his vehicle when a deer entered the roadway.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department responded to the following accident:
11:52 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, South Huntington Street, Syracuse. Driver: Barry D. Taylor, 53, North Long Street, Syracuse. Taylor backed his vehicle into a post in the New Market parking lot. Damages up to $1,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
5:59 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, US 30 near North Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Branden D. Bruner, 28, North Parker Street, Warsaw; and Karen D. Skees, 46, East Raintree Road, Warsaw. While at the intersection of US 30 and North Parker Street, Bruner saw Skees’ vehicle had its right turn signal activated. As he began to drive his vehicle left onto US 30, Skees drove straight through the intersection, causing a collision with the front of Bruner’s vehicle and the front driver’s side corner of Skees’ vehicle. Damages up to $25,000.
5:36 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, West US 30 near North CR 150W, Warsaw. Debra Ruble, 56, Road 137, Grover Hill, Ohio; and Christopher Snyder, 37, Chestnut Commons Drive, Commercial Point, Ohio. While slowing at a traffic stoplight, the front of Ruble’s vehicle collided with the rear of Snyder’s vehicle. Snyder complained of neck pain. Damages up to $25,000.
10:33 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, Market Street near Lincoln Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Gabriella C. Grayson, 19, North Lakeview Drive, Warsaw; and Larry E. Howard, 72, East Jefferson Street, Warsaw. Grayson said she didn’t see Howard’s vehicle as she made a left turn, causing a collision. Grayson complained of head pain following the accident. Damages up to $10,000.
9:22 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, East Center Street near South Hickory Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Christopher R. Peters, 41 North Calvert Street, Baltimore, MD; and Rebecca L. Elder, 46, Cardinal Drive, Warsaw. Peters did not see Elder’s vehicle as he drove his vehicle through the intersection of Center and Hickory Street, causing Elder’s vehicle to collide the passenger side of his vehicle. Elder complained of pain throughout her body. Damages up to $25,000.
6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, North Parker Street near US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Alejandro Juarez, 16, South Cleveland Street, Warsaw; and Brian L. Scott, 54, North Old Orchard Drive, Warsaw. While approaching the intersection of Parker Street and US 30, the front of Juarez’s vehicle collided with the rear of Scott’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
7:23 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, West Lake Street near Leiter Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Rita D. Stover, 62, East CR 200N 168, Warsaw. Stover was driving her vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $5,000.
5:53 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 2501 Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Driver: Carl L. Poe, 61, North CR 500W, Milford. Poe was driving his vehicle went it collided with a parked unoccupied vehicle. Damages up to $10,000.
4:03 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, East Main Street near North Cook Street, Warsaw. Driver: Cheryl A. Pittenger, 70, East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. Pittenger was driving a Uhaul truck south on Scott Street. She stopped at a stop sign to make a right turn onto Main Street. She turned the corner too sharp and struck a utility pole. Damages up to $25,000.4:03 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, East Main Street, north of North Cook Street, Warsaw. Driver: Cheryl A. Pittenger, 70, East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. Pittenger was operating a U-Haul truck when she turned the vehicle too sharp. This caused the vehicle to go over a curb and strike a Nipsco utility pole. No injuries were reported in the accident. Nipsco cleared the roadway of downed power lines. Damage up to $25,000.
3:59 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, SR 15 near Jalynn Street, Warsaw. Drivers: George J. Freeman, 65, East Deerwood Court, Warsaw; Andrew M. Smith, 22, Tanner Drive, Fishers; and Tammi L. Wagoner, 48, South Union Street, Warsaw. While driving north on SR 15, the front of Freeman’s vehicle collided with the rear of Smith’s vehicle, causing the front of Smith’s vehicle to collide with the rear of Wagoner’s vehicle. Damages up to $25,000.
11:11 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, North Detroit Street near East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jyotinder I. Singh, 24, Joshua Drive, Marion; and Amber A. Miller, 27, South CR 600W, Claypool. While driving her vehicle, the front of Marion’s vehicle collided with the rear of Singh’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
