A 14-0 run to open the game, along with a 23-point second quarter was enough to lift LCA to a win Tuesday at home.
Tori Calizo filled the stat sheet with a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds to go with four blocks and two steals. Jessi Calizo also had a busy night, scoring 10 points to go with five rebounds, four steals and four assists.
Natalie Norris added six points and five steals, Finley Hobbs had six points, four steals, three steals and two blocks, and Liv Miller chipped in six points, two rebounds and two steals.
Alayna Clifton led Community Baptist with 13 points and Ellie Liggitt scored eight points.
WEST NOBLE 43, WAWASEE 26
West Noble took the matchup of potential sectional opponents Tuesday in Ligonier.
Wawasee hit a dry spell in the second quarter, scoring zero points, taking what was a 10-7 West Noble lead after one and flipped the score to 19-7 at the break. West Noble then came out of the lockerroom and dropped 21 points on Wawasee in the third quarter to pull away for good.
Lillian Mast and Jazmyn Smith each scored 12 points to pace the Chargers.
Emily Haines led the Warriors with nine points, five rebounds and four steals. Hannah Lancaster and Danielle Jenkins combined for nine points and five steals.
The Wawasee JV pieced together a 23-19 win for its sixth victory of the season. Tate Cowan, Ava Harker and Blair Harker all finished with five points, Ava Harker added seven rebounds and Amari Peete recorded eight rebounds and seven steals.
