TVHS To Host Benefit Dinner For Jeff Shriver Saturday
AKRON — Tippecanoe Valley High School to host a benefit dinner supporting one of its own.
The Jeff Shriver Benefit Dinner featuring Smoked Pulled Pork is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 14 in the TVHS Commons, said a news release from Tippecanoe Valley High School.
Shriver is a TVHS teacher and coach who was recently diagnosed with liver cancer.
The dinner is from 4 – 6 p.m. before the start of the TVHS Boys’ Basketball Game.
Freewill donations will be taken for the dinner with all proceeds going to Shriver’s family to help with treatment costs, said the news release.
Donations via check may also be made out to and sent to TVHS with “Shriver” in the memo.
If attending the ball game, TVHS encourages fans to wear a black shirt and khaki pants in honor of Jeff Shriver’s traditional wardrobe, said the news release.
Tippecanoe Valley High School is located at 8345 South SR 19, Akron.
