Forecast Calls For Clearing But Cold Conditions Early This Week
WARSAW – An overnight snowfall left about a half-inch on roadways early Monday morning in Warsaw and another small chance of more snow returns later in the day, the National Weather Service said.
The morning snowfall was just enough to make a mess on roads but was light and fluffy, making it easy for motorists who have to clear off their vehicles.
The same snow system that dusted Kosciusko County left much more snow to the south, where Indianapolis received about five inches.
The NWS predicts a 40 percent chance of snow Monday night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. The weather service is not predicting any accumulation on its website overnight.
Monday’s high will be 33. The low will fall to 23.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a high of 33 and a low of 19.
Wednesday will be sunny and cold with a high of 24 and a low of 15.
Thursday will be sunny with a high of 33.
Highs on Friday and Saturday will be near 40, the weather service said.
