Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accidents:

5:41 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 1180 Husky Trail, Warsaw. Driver: Albert K. Meerzo, 91, Red Squirrel Court, Warsaw. Meerzo was attempting to pull into an empty parking space when he struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Meerzo’s vehicle pushed the parked, unoccupied vehicle across the parking lot into a second parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $10,000. 

2:53 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2501 Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Drivers: Huletta M. Carrey, 89, Clearwater Drive, Warsaw; and Lorraine F. Forks, 57, East Evergreen Drive, Warsaw. Carrey’s and Fork’s vehicles collided when they backed out of their respective parking spots. Damages up to $5,000.

2:37 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 1200 Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Samuel A. Saldana, 41, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw; and Bruce D. Miller, 73, East CR 550S, Warsaw. Saldana said he was crossing the parking lot of Meijer in his vehicle when he pulled out in front of Miller’s vehicle causing damage to the passenger side of Saldana’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.
