Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

7:11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, US 30, near Silveus Crossing, Warsaw. Drivers: Kathy A. Buckheit, 57, North Washington Street, Warsaw; and Julie A. Kaufman, 51, West CR 800N, Nappanee. Buckheit was traveling north on Silveus Crossing when she entered an intersection, striking Kaufman’s vehicle. Kaufman was traveling west on US 30 and had a green light when she entered the intersection of US 30 and Silveus Crossing. Damage up to $50,000.

1:34 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2034 E. Center St., Warsaw. Driver: Debra L. Reed, 58, East CR 750S, Pierceton. Reed was backing her vehicle from a parking stall when she struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.

1:32 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, Husky Trail, west of North Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jesus Sanchez, 23, North Fox Farm Road, Warsaw; and Teresa S. Brown, 58, West Brookside Drive, North Webster. Sanchez was traveling east on Husky Trial when he rear-ended Brown’s vehicle. Sanchez said he was test driving a vehicle from R & B Car Company. Sanchez complained of chest, back and leg pain and was checked by medics at the scene. Damage up to $25,000.

1:04 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2034 E. Center St., Warsaw. Driver: unknown. A vehicle registered to Telishia J. Sroufe, Warsaw, was backed into while parked and unoccupied. The driver who caused the damage left the scene. Damage up to $2,500.
