Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
1:47 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, North CR 175E, north of East CR 1300N, Milford. Driver: Brandon L. Shipp, 24, West Pickwick Drive, Syracuse. Shipp was traveling north on North CR 175E when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
7:06 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24, SR 15, near East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Matthew J. Hodge, 16, South Manns Road, Claypool. Hodge was operating a moped when his vehicle slipped, causing his moped to fall to the ground and skid. Hodge sustained a small abrasion to his right knee. Damage under $750.
12:27 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24, 3605 Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Susan K. Conley, 71, North Westerner Winds Drive, Warsaw; and Joan K. Scott, 69, West CR 1100N, Milford. Conley was attempting to make a left turn when she struck Scott’s parked vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
5:53 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, North CR 150W, near US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Lauren E. Sheets, 24, North CR 350W, Columbia City; and Nathanial A. Pollnow, 18, North Riverwood Ranch Road, Warsaw. Sheets was traveling south on North CR 150W when she rear-ended Pollnow’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
11:11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, East Market Street, near South Johnson Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Connor D. Helser, 32, North Brown Road, Columbia City; and Kristin M. Wuthrich, 25, Clinic Court, Warsaw. Helser was traveling south on South Jonson Street when he stopped at a stop sign. As he turned into the intersection, he struck Wuthrich’s vehicle. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
10:19 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, Lake City Highway, east of North Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Barry C. Brookins, 50, 3rd Street, Dyersville, Iowa; Barbara Schwartz, 66, East Kochheiser Road, Bellville, Ohio; and Matthew L. Harman, 35, South County Farm Road, Claypool. Brookins was traveling west on Lake City Highway when he rear-ended Schwartz’s vehicle. This caused Brookins’ vehicle to slide and also rear-end Harman’s vehicle. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $25,000.
