Winona Lake Hearing On Wastewater Rate Hike Proposal Jan. 6
WINONA LAKE — The Winona Lake Town Council will host a special meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, at the Winona Lake Town Hall.
The council will hold a hearing regarding a wastewater rate increase and other minor matters, said Town Manager Craig Allebach.
The town’s proposed wastewater rate for residential use could increase monthly from $47 to $56.
This is the first proposed hike in the wastewater rate in more than a decade despite yearly contract rate increases with the City of Warsaw, according to Town Council President Rick Swaim in a previous town council meeting.
