Dutchtown Brethren Hosts Annual Sing-Fest Sunday
WARSAW — Dutchtown Brethren Church will host its 16th annual Winter Sing-fest Gospel Concert at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5.
Groups set to perform include “The Northmen and Cathy” from Fort Wayne, and soloist Doug Anderson who spent 13 years singing baritone with Ernie Haase and Signature Sound. He left to pursue a solo career in Southern Gospel in 2015. There is no admission for the concert, but a freewill offering will be accepted, said a news release from Dutchtown Brethren Church.
Dutchtown Brethren Church is northeast of Warsaw at 4057 East CR 300N.
Otterbein UM Hosting Gospel Trio Jan. 12
The Otterbein United Methodist Church in Atwood will be hosting a concert by The Master’s Own, a very popular gospel trio, at 7 p.m. Sunday evening, Jan. 12. The public is invited to attend this concert.
The Master’s Own, formed in 1982, has traveled many miles throughout the Midwest and Canada in their ministry, and they enjoy sharing the gospel in song. The trio includes Charles Rhoades, his wife Dottie Rhoades and his sister-in-law, Bernice Nelson. As this trio blends their voices together, audiences have been blessed with their rich melody and smooth harmonies. Their uplifting sound reflecting the joy of Christ-honoring music has been enjoyed by listeners.
The Otterbein Church believes community citizens will find this concert of gospel music to be a delightful and rewarding way to welcome the new year. Refreshments will follow the concert in the church’s Fellowship Hall.

Celebration UMC Announces New ‘Live Band’
Celebration UMC announces its new “Live Band,” featuring Jared Frantz as Worship Leader, beginning this year.
The church says they are anticipating new changes for an exciting Worship experience.
Sunday activities include: men’s breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at the Church; women’s breakfast at 8 a.m. Sunday at American Table; Worship service is at 10 a.m. Sunday.
