North Webster Library Board Members Tour New Library Construction Site
NORTH WEBSTER — Members of the North Webster Community Public Library Board of Trustees recently toured the construction site of the new library facility.
A new library is being built on land immediately south of the North Webster Community Center. The floor has been poured, and walls and trusses are installed along with parts of the roof. The building is expected to be fully enclosed by Jan. 17 with completion scheduled for June 2020, said a news release from North Webster Public Library.
In the meantime, the North Webster Library continues to serve the public at its current facility located in the north end of the North Webster Community Center where it has rented quarters since April 2004. Due to growing community needs, the library is building its own facility where it can better serve its patrons for decades to come, said the news release.
