John R. Slone, 64, Warsaw, passed away at 10:56 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020, in his residence. John was born on May 21, 1955, in Warsaw, to Isaac and Colleen (Wilson) Slone.

He was a lifetime Cubs Fan and member on the Die-Hard Cub Fan Club International Society since 1969.

John is survived by siblings, Diana (Donald) Dugan of Rochester, Donna (Steve) Burke of Warsaw; Mark Slone, Warsaw; niece and nephews, Sara Yarber, Jason Slone, Ryan Slone and Kevin Slone. In addition, he is survived by great nieces and nephews, “My Angels”, Serenity Slone, Allison Yarber and Isaac Slone and also his K-9 companion “Buddy”. 

Services will be private.  All arrangements for the family are entrusted to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
