WARSAW 49, GOSHEN 39
The Tigers bounced back from their loss at Northridge last week with a Northern Lakes Conference win over visiting Goshen Friday night at the Tiger Den.
Warsaw trailed by a slim, 20-19 margin at halftime but outscored the RedHawks 30-19 in the second half.
Leading scorers for the Tigers were Luke Adamiec and Blake Marsh with 14 points each. Adamiec led in rebounds with five, while Marsh, Ben Bergen and Jaylen Coon each grabbed four. Coon added 11 points, and Jackson Dawson and Keagan Larsh scored six and four points, respectively.
The win moves Warsaw’s record to 9-3 on the season and 2-1 in NLC play. The Tigers travel to Concord next Friday night.
ELKHART MEMORIAL 59, WAWASEE 51
The Warriors suffered their second straight Northern Lakes Conference loss in a game with visiting Memorial Friday.
Wawasee turned the ball over just 15 times, but the Chargers were able to capitalize with 25 points off turnovers. Memorial also scored 13 second-chance points compared to just two by the hosts.
Austin Miller scored a game-high 22 points with three assists and five steals for the Warriors. Jack Stover finished with nine points, and Ethan Hardy scored eight at the game, which featured five ties and five lead changes.
Memorial had four players in double figures. Titus Rodgers scored 15 points, Damarion Anderson finished with 12, and Brandon Brooks and D’Arjon Lewis put up 10 points apiece.
Wawasee’s JV managed to pull out an exciting, 41-40 win, meanwhile.
Collin Roberson scored 14 points with eight rebounds, and Marten Kant finished with 11 points, eight rebounds and six steals in the win.
Wawasee’s varsity dips to 7-5 and 0-3 in conference play. The Warriors travel to Plymouth next Friday.
NORTHRIDGE 70, NORTHWOOD 56
NorthWood suffered its second NLC loss of the season to visiting Northridge on Friday night.
The Raiders knocked down 12 3-pointers in the win, including five by Camden Knepp and four from Carter Stoltzfus, who finished with 17 and 19 points, respectively. The Raiders also got double-digit production from Alex Stauffer, who finished with 14.
Trent Edwards continued his steady offensive production with 18 points. Brock Flickinger and Cooper Weins finished with nine points each for the Panthers, who slipped to 9-4 and 1-2 in the NLC.
