Police Uncover Marijuana Grow Operation, Confiscate 320 Plants
SOUTH BEND – On Sunday morning, Jan. 26, officers from the Indiana State Police Bremen Post assisted the St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit after their officers discovered a suspected marijuana cultivation operation during the course of a homicide investigation.
Troopers were requested to an address in the 600 block of S. Liberty Street in South Bend during the early morning hours of January 26. This investigation led to the seizure of 320 marijuana plants and marijuana cultivation equipment.
No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
