Dancing for Birth Class Begins at Collier’s School of Dance
WARSAW – Debra Collier’s School of Dance will host a Dancing for Birth program with a free sample class on Saturday, February 15, from 10:30 to11:30 a.m.
The class, designed for pre-conception, expecting, postpartum and baby-wearing mothers, allows mothers to dance their way into a new approach to prenatal/postpartum fitness and emotional wellness. Weekly classes are offered for dancing through pregnancy, as well as after the birth with the baby secured in a sling or wrap.
Certified Instructor Kristina Collier is passionate about this program and what it can offer to the mothers in our community. “Following the birth of my daughter, I became very passionate about empowering expectant mothers and supporting postpartum mothers. It is such an important phase of life for both parents and children and this program impacts not just the physical but the emotional well-being of everyone too.”, explains Collier.
The class will be offered Friday mornings, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, and Saturday mornings, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., beginning Feb. 21 and 22.
Registration for the sample class and 8-week sessions is available at collierdance.com. For additional information about this and other programs, please contact the studio at (574) 267-7055, visit the website at collierdance.com or on Facebook and Instagram.
