LAGRANGE – Wawasee’s middle school gymnasts edged host Lakeland 113.2-110.15 Thursday night.

Eden Scott was the top gymnast of the meet, leading Wawasee and the meet on vault (9.5), beam (9.9) and floor (9.8), and along with her 9.7 on bars totaled a whopping 38.9 overall all-arounder.

Delaney Delagrange scored a 9.1 on vault, 9.4 on bars, 9.8 on beam and 9.65 on floor to add to Wawasee’s success. Ella Beer added a 9.4 on beam and Abby Helman scored 9.3 on floor.

Emma Schiffli scored 9.45 on vault 9.85 on bars, 9.5 on beam and 9.55 on floor to lead the Lakers.

In JV work, Brooklyn Roose was first on bars and beam, tied for second on vault and first in all-around to lead Wawasee.
