Lego Crew At Milford Public Library
MILFORD — Be sure to join the fun with Lego Crew at Milford Public Library from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 14.
The children are able to work on a Yoda Lego kit, or free building of their choice. Each child who participates can enter their name to win a Lego kit of their own. This month, the Lego prize is a 3-in-one Creator kit. February’s winner was 10-year-old Brady Zartman. He is a fourth-grader at Milford Elementary, and enjoys most sports, music and building with Legos, said a news release from the Milford Public Library.
The Census will be taken this year. This is required by the Constitution and counts everyone in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. territories. Expect a questionnaire to arrive between March 12 to 20. You have several options to choose from. You can respond by mail, by phone or online. The census provides data that helps support our community. This is how hospitals, fire departments, schools, libraries and road maintenance receive funding. The census also determines the number of seats each state will have in the U.S. House of Representatives. The census is conducted every ten years. This will be the twenty-fourth time since 1790 that the census has been conducted.
