James Lester Trout
James Lester Trout, Roann, passed away at 5:21 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2020, at his residence at the age of 69.
He was born Nov. 11, 1950, in Terra Alta, W. Va., to Pansy Grace (Hull) Trout and Charles Theodore Trout.
On June 20, 1971, he was married to Barbara Guin (Miles) Trout.
James served in the U.S. Army from Sept. 6, 1968, until his honorable discharge on Sept. 3, 1971. He was a resident of Wabash County for over 43 years and had resided in Kosciusko County for a few years. He attended Field of Grace Church in Roann. James worked as a drywaller since 1980 and worked on many walls of area residents and businesses. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Guin Trout, Roann; two sons: Charles (Crystal) Trout Roann, Samuel (Linda) Trout, Roann; three daughters: Amy (Jamie) Johnson, Monroeville, Christy Trout, Roann, and Janna (Bradley) Lanphear, Bend, Ore. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and two sisters: Ruby (Alvie) Martin, North Carolina, Wilma (Getty) Keefer, Friendsville, Md.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandchild, sister, Leoma, and two brothers, Joseph and Thomas.
James will be laid to rest with a private graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
