Yoder, Shoup-Hill Among Indiana All-Star Choices
INDIANAPOLIS – Some of the best to ever come through their programs were recognized as Indiana All-Stars. The Indianapolis Star released the lists Monday morning for the boys and girls All-Stars as well as Junior All-Stars. The teams are prospectively looking to play the Kentucky All-Stars in a home-and-home series on June 5-6.
The Boys All-Stars features two area players in Westview’s Charlie Yoder and Culver Academy’s Trey Galloway. Yoder finished as the school’s all-time leading scorer and had the Warriors ranked among the top-five in Class 2-A for majority of the season. Yoder did not announce a formal college basketball commitment as of Monday morning. Galloway also leaves his program as the all-time leading scorer as the Eagles were among those still alive in the state tournament after the Academy won the ultra-competitive Class 4-A LaPorte Sectional.
