WINONA LAKE – Two people from Milford died in a late afternoon accident Saturday, April 11, at Packerton Road and CR 225S in Winona Lake.

The victims were identified as the driver, Beverly A. Flannery, 73, and a front-seat passenger, Linda A. Musselman, 78.

The accident happened at 4:43 p.m. and involved a 2009 Dodge Journey and an overturned 2005 Pontiac Montana.

According to investigating deputies, the Pontiac, heading west on 225S, entered the path of the Dodge Journey headed south on Packerton. The front end of the Journey struck the passenger side of the Montana, causing significant damage.

The driver of the Journey, Karlee Rae Marshall, 31, of Warsaw, was taken to a Fort Wayne Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. 

The crash remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Fatal Team. There is no indication of drug or alcohol usage contributing to this crash.
