Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

10 p.m. Monday, April 20, 1377 South Packerton Road, Winona Lake. Driver: Rush G. Nichols, 18, Kinney Drive, Warsaw. Nichols backed his vehicle into a parked unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

Claypool

Officers with the Claypool Police Department investigated the following accident:

12:17 a.m. Sunday, April 19, South SR 15 south of West CR 600S, Claypool. Driver: Brandon M. Easterday, 21, West CR 100S 11, Wabash. Easterday’s vehicle collided with a deer. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

12:47 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, intersection of South Zimmer Road and West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Amanda L. Boone, 24, Clark Street, Warsaw. According to the police report, Boone left following the accident, but the vehicle was still at the scene. Evidence at the scene showed that Boone had been traveling east on Winona Avenue and attempted to turn left onto Zimmer Road; however, the vehicle was traveling too fast to complete the turn and the vehicle left the roadway, striking a utility pole, a SR 25 sign and a stop sign. Boone eventually went to the hospital where she refused a certified chemical test. Boone had injuries to her right hand and forearm, requiring stitches in several different locations. Damage up to $10,000.
