1,062 COVID-19 Deaths Reported In Indiana
WARSAW — The latest posting on the Kosciusko County Health Department website shows the number of COVID-19 deaths in Indiana rose to 1,062, up from 1,007 reported on Thursday, April 30.
Total positive number of cases statewide stands at 18,630, up from 17,835 yesterday.
Kosciusko County is reported to have performed 554 COVID-19 tests and the State of Indiana has reported a total of 99,639 performed tests. The number of reported coronavirus cases in Kosciusko County is at 36
Locally, Wabash County has 51 positive cases, Noble County has 71 positive cases and Elkhart County has 293 positive cases. Whitley County has 20 positive cases and Marshall County has 30 positive cases.
Cass County, which is south of Fulton County and includes Logansport, has 1,214 positive COVID-19 cases. In other Northern Indiana counties, Lake County has 1,929 positive cases, up from 1,846 cases Thursday, April 30. St. Joseph County has 642 positive cases; and Allen County has 588 positive cases.
Marion County, which includes Indianapolis, has the most cases in the state at 5,754.
