Dear Editor,

I am Ann Darlington, a resident of North Webster, and I am writing in support of Karin McGrath for Judge of Superior Court 3.

I worked for the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office for nineteen years, retiring as the office manager,  I met Karin McGrath when she was hired as a Deputy Prosecutor.  For over seven years, I watched Karin handle criminal cases with great intellect and wisdom.  Karin demonstrated an excellent work ethic and dedication to the enforcement of the laws of the State of Indiana. 

Karin showed a passion for the law.  She would often work late preparing for pretrial conferences, status conferences, and trials.  She showed the same dedication no matter the level of crime.  Kari worked closely with the Victim’s Assistant to ensure that the victims of crimes were given a voice in court.

I saw Karin interact with law enforcement officers, office staff, the public, and other attorneys.  She was always professional, knowledgeable, and respectful and she had the outstanding ability to help people understand complicated legal issues.

Karin effectively handled an overwhelmingly large caseload and was able to direct the efforts of support staff in a positive, team-oriented way.  She looked for ways to improve efficiency and cared deeply about the mission of the Office.

Because of her experience, work ethic, passion for the law, and strong advocacy for victims she dealt with, I ask you to vote for Karin McGrath for judge of Kosciusko Superior Court 3.
