SYRACUSE – The Wawasee Girls Basketball Summer Youth Camp will take place this upcoming Monday, July 20 through Thursday, July 23, at Wawasee High School.

The camp is for incoming first-through eighth-graders and will be led by members of the Wawasee girls basketball staff. It will focus on teaching the fundamentals while seeking to encourage campers to enjoy the sport and grow in the game of basketball.

Campers in grades 1-4 will attend from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the annex gym, while those in grades 5-8 will meet from 9:30-11:15 a.m. in the spectator gym. Players should wear normal indoor basketball attire — tennis shoes, t-shirts, shorts — and should enter at Door 7 of the high school. Please bring your own water bottle.

Cost is $35 for one player and $25 for each additional sister. Checks should be made payable to Warrior Girls AAU. No child will be turned away for financial reasons.
