Dear Editor,

I’ve taken some time to reflect over the past campaign and election season and I am left with an overwhelming sense of deep gratitude and appreciation for the people of this county. I am grateful for my team and their tireless efforts: Steve, Mike, Christine, Chris—I could not have done this without you and I thank you for believing in me.

I am grateful for the thousands of people who not only voted for me but who took the time to reach out during the process and provide feedback and encouragement along the way.

I am struck with the kindness and fortitude of this community in the midst of the crisis we’re facing. Regardless of the outcome of the election, I count myself immeasurably blessed to live here and to continue to serve the needs of this community in the legal system I love working with people I respect immensely.

I congratulate Chad on his victory and a race well run and look forward to continuing to appear in Superior 3. I wish Rob and Lindsey all the best in their future endeavors.

Whatever the future holds, I thank God for every opportunity and for those I’ve had the pleasure of crossing paths with. I look forward to watching Kosciusko County continue to pull together to be stronger than ever!
