Robert B. ‘Bob’ Bause
Robert B. “Bob” Bause, 77, Warsaw, passed away at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2020, at Goshen Hospital. He was born on Dec. 14, 1942, in Detroit, Mich. to Robert F. and Alma LaFern (Ritter) Bause.
He was a lifetime North Webster and Warsaw area resident and graduated in 1961 from North Webster High School. He was married on April 25, 1986, in Clinton, W. Va. to Peggy S. Carpenter, who survives. He retired from R R Donnelly in Warsaw after 41 years.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster and was a certified instructor for the Junior Shooter thru the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy; four daughters: Debbie (Tony) Barnes of Mentone, Chris Bause of Dunlap, Jill (Craig) Helfrich of Fort Wayne, and Cassi Bause of Warsaw; a son, Dane (Jaime) Bause of Warsaw; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gregory (Sharon) Bause of Warsaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, at Chapman Lakes Conservation Association, 3019 N. 325E, Warsaw. Private family burial will take place in the Salem Cemetery at a later date. Owen Family Funeral Home, SR13 and CR 500N, North Webster is in charge of arrangements.
