Syracuse Parks Closed For Fourth Of July
SYRACUSE — At the Syracuse Town Council meeting on June 16, the council passed resolution 20-07 which closes Lakeside Park and Hoy’s Beach on July 3-4 due to the spread of the coronavirus.
With the increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases in the Syracuse area and with the social distancing and gathering recommendations due to COVID-19 it was determined that the best decision for the safety of the Syracuse Community would to be to close the parks for the Fourth of July holiday.
