WARSAW – The Sweet Sassy Golf Outing will be back and hopefully better than ever in 2020, choosing Saturday, Aug. 29, as its date for the fifth running of the golf event.

The Sassy will be held once again at Rozella Ford Golf Club. A four-person team is $300 if registered before Aug. 1, or $325 up to the 29th. Registration includes 18 holes, cart, lunch and t-shirt. There are also hole sponsorship opportunities at $150, which gets a hole sign and logo on the main banner as well an advertisement spot on WRSW. Event sponsorships are a free will donation.

In the first four years of the Sassy, over $90,000 has been raised and given directly to the Kosciusko County Community Foundation and the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation. The 2020 proceeds will go to Bib’s Billfold, which helps students in the Valley corporation with meals and equipment purchases.

The event, originally put on in the memory of the late Scott Bibler, has become a catalyst to honor those lost in the Tippecanoe Valley community. The event in 2020 will focus on the passings of Duane Hackworth, Nick Phillips, Jerry Zolman and Jeff Shriver.
