Shirley L. Juday, 78, New Paris, died 12:16 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at Goshen Hospital.

She was born April 13, 1942, in Elkhart, to Dwight & Kathryn (Wise) Berkey. On Dec. 31, 1974, in Syracuse, she married Gary L. Juday and he died Feb. 8, 2010.

Surviving are daughters, Kristine (Bill) Bradford, New Paris, Jeanean Wineland, New Paris, Sheryl R. Wineland, Nappanee, seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a sister, Beverly (“Bud”) Myers, Colorado.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, brother, Dean Wortinger, sister, Jean McClure and her dog, Barney.

Shirley worked at Juday’s Processing Plant for 17 years and also worked in the Everett’s Deli. She was a member of the New Paris Church of the Brethren.

Private family services will be held. Pastor Stan Godfrey will officiate. Burial will be in New Paris Cemetery at a later date.
