Bob Hickman

Robert G. “Bob” Hickman, 57, Milford, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020, at his home. He was born on Aug. 11, 1962, in Goshen, to Jackie Dale and Nancy J. (Galvin) Hickman.

He graduated in 1981 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse and 1986 from Ball State University in Muncie. He returned to Milford in April 2017 from San Antonio, TX. He worked for the Marriott Hotels throughout the United States for many years and was currently employed at Fairfield Inn in Warsaw. He formerly worked at Fairfield Inn in Goshen and Holiday Inn Express in Warsaw.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Hickman, Goshen; sister, Ronda (Jeff Yoder) Davis, Milford; brother, Jack (Chris Holman) Hickman, China Grove, N.C.; nieces and nephews: Chris (Amber Burchard) Davis, Catrina (Bernard Weinberg) Davis, Casi Bjella, Cameron Bjella, and Jeremy (Brittany) Hickman.

He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Joe Hickman.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, July 24, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Memorial services will follow at 6 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Private burial will take place in the Salem Cemetery in Wilmot.
