Joy Louise Flora

Joy Louise Flora, 64, Warsaw, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at 11:17 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne surrounded by family.

Joy was born on Feb. 23, 1956, in Bangui (FEA), Congo, but was a lifelong area resident.

She was a member of Warsaw Community Church and enjoyed devoting her time to the Sonlight Children’s Ministry. She will always be remembered for her compassion and love of family.

Joy married David Flora, Warsaw, on Aug. 9, 1975, who survives, along with brother, Steve (Karen) Thomas, Coloma, Mich.; sister, Patricia (Doug) Miller, Linesville, Pa.; children, David Flora Jr. (Lesley), Plymouth; Rebecca Flora Ballard (David), Claypool; and Timothy Flora (Tiffani), North Manchester; as well as eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Sandy Thomas.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
