UPDATE: Three Taken To Hospital After SR 15 Accident

WARSAW — Three people were taken to a Fort Wayne hospital after a two-vehicle accident at SR 15 and CR 300S on Friday.
At 12:15 p.m. Friday, July 31, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office and the Claypool Police Department responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident. Prior to the collision, a 2000 Chevrolet Colorado operated by Thomas Ryan, 18, Warsaw, was traveling east on CR 300S, approaching SR 15. A 2018 Chevrolet Traverse, operated by Lloyd Baker Sr., 65, Gas City, was traveling south on SR 15, approaching CR 300S.
Preliminary results of the investigation indicate that Ryan failed to yield to Baker at the intersection. The front driver corner of Ryan’s vehicle struck the front passenger corner of Baker’s vehicle. A passenger in Baker’s vehicle, Lloyd Baker Jr., 49, Jonesboro, was taken to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne by Lutheran Air Ambulance.
Ryan and a passenger in his vehicle, Conner Bale, 18, Warsaw, were taken by ground ambulance to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and Lutheran EMS also responded to the scene.
