WARSAW – Wagon Wheel Center For The Arts literally returned to its roots Thursday night with an outdoor performance of “Always … Patsy Cline.”
Thursday night’s show was conducted under a tent in the lower parking area, and was somewhat reminiscent of outdoor performances conducted in the same area decades ago.
Ticketholders were asked to adhere to COVID-19 precautions and were generously spaced out in chairs that they brought with them.
The move outdoors for the three-week series comes after Wagon Wheel cancelled its summer season because of the pandemic.
The show, starring Kira Lace Hawkins and Jennifer Dow, will continue for three weeks Thursday through Sunday.
The crowd, upward of 100 people, enjoyed shady conditions and mild temperatures during the show.
Tickets remain available for other shows.
