PERU – Tippecanoe Valley jumped into the dual golf season with a split Tuesday at Rock Hollow against Northwestern and host Peru.

Valley used a 46 from Madelyn Weaver to help score a 218, which outdistanced fellow Three Rivers Conference mates at Peru and their 251. Northwestern added two wins, shooting a 190.

Kaydence Mellott scored a 54, Molly Moriarty had a 57 and both Lily Ault and Cheney Canada finished at 61 for the Lady Vikings.

Northwestern saw Audrey Koetter fire a round of 40 to lead the way in the individual table. Mollie Habig shot 50, followed by Jocelyn Smith at 51 and Leah Parrott at 54.

Libby Rogers shot a 55 to lead Peru.
