Press Release
NORTH WEBSTER – Kiah Farrington claimed honors as the 2020 Challenger Series tennis champion.
Farrington, a sophomore at Wawasee High School, went 7-2 throughout the summer series and ended the season with 152 points to claim the championship.
This year was the third annual running of the Staley Tennis Club series. Each year, 16 players compete in a summer-long singles series, a modified ladder system, to earn points towards the leaderboard. Players receive weekly match assignments
and can also issue challenges to others in their rung.
Zeke Keim of Syracuse finished runner-up in this year’s series with 109 points. Farrington had won the
series in its inaugural season of 2018 when she finished top of the pack with 154 points.
