Back-To-School Backpack Giveaway Tradition Continues
WARSAW — The Kosciusko Board of REALTORS® continued its annual partnership with Combined Community Services to provide local children with back-to-school backpacks loaded with all their needed supplies.
KBOR was proud to partner with Sabrina Phillips, director of self-sufficiency, and the CCS staff for the seventh year. This year, KBOR provided filled backpacks to 28 Kosciusko County students to assure they were ready for the start of school.
Due to continued concerns about COVID-19, this year’s July 23 event was different than any other. For the safety of the children, their families and KBOR’s volunteers, the backpacks were distributed during a drive-thru event at the Combined Community Services building.
REALTORS® and their affiliate members are committed to helping build strong communities by giving back to the market in which they work and do business, even in this very unusual school year.
