Concord 165, Wawasee 207, Mishawaka 248
Wawasee took their clubs on the road to Bent Oak Golf Course in Elkhart to play in a three-way NLC match with Concord and Mishawaka. The Warriors earned a split on the day, losing to the Minutemen while defeating their new rivals from St. Joseph County.
Taylor Cripe led the Warriors with a nine-hole 43, four strokes better than her teammate Tate Cowan. Rylee Firestone and Izy Losee added their rounds to the team scorecard, respectively firing a 54 and 63. Concord’s Belle Brunner earned medalist honors with her round of 39.
The split moved Wawasee’s overall record to 6-4 and 202 in NLC round robin play.
Tippecanoe Valley 200, North Miami 218, Manchester 218, Whitko 230
Tippecanoe Valley went 3-0 in a four-way TRC matchup on Thursday evening. The Vikings shot a even 200 and were lead by Lily Ault who shot a career low 48 and Madelyn Weaver who matched her teammates score. Kaydence Mellott chipped in with a 49 followed by Molly Moriarty’s 55. Not adding to the team total was Cheney Canada’s very respectable 56.
The Vikings finished the week 5-0.
Plymouth 189, Warsaw 201
Warsaw found its first defeat in the Northern Lakes Conference (2-1) with a loss at Pretty Lake.
The hosts had four scores at 50 or better while Warsaw had just Olivia Robinson-Gay in the 40s, scoring a 45. Sydney Lancaster shot 50, Marie Frazzetta was a 52 and Delaney Byron finished at 54 for the Tigers.
Plymouth (3-0) had Olivia Horvath shoot a medalist 43, followed by matching 48s from Annastasia Hutchings and Elaina McDonald and then a 50 from Claire McDonald.
