Triton (4-1) wasted little time in putting away its neighbors to the south, rolling to a 25-3, 25-13, 25-8 sweep Thursday night in the Dragon’s Lair.

Emma Hepler set up 20 points, to which Lexia Hostrawser and Abbey Viers combined for 15 kills. Molly McFarland and Madeline Doll teamed up for 19 digs on the backline, and Doll and Hepler provided eight total aces.

The Trojan JV squad also rolled, winning 25-10, 25-6. Morgan Feldman came in with four aces and three assists as part of the victory.

Tippecanoe Valley 3, Whitko 0

Valley evened its overall record at 2-2, and started its Three Rivers Conference season with a win in South Whitley.

The Vikings won the contest 25-17, 25-11, 25-21 to complete the conquest.

Stats for the Vikings were not provided. Whitko had Morgan Howard lead the team with nine kills, eight digs, three assists and an ace. Abigail Frank and Kirsten Schipper both had eight digs.

The Vikings won the JV contest 2-0.
