Early Morning Fire Destroys Two Barns South Of Warsaw

WARSAW – An early morning fire south of Warsaw destroyed two barns at CR 300S and County Farm Road today, Aug. 31.
Lutheran EMS was on scene to provide medical coverage. Kosciusko County Central Dispatch received a 911 call at 3:41 a.m. of a large barn at the intersection on fire.
Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory fire crews reported heavy fire involvement on the first arrival. Within minutes the second barn was on fire and the first barn was collapsing.
As of 9:30 a.m., fire departments still on scene applying water to rubble fire.
According to Beacon.com, the property is owned by Vana Dell North Inc.
No injuries were reported.
In addition to WWFT, those responding to the fire included Claypool Fire, Silver Lake Fire, Atwood Fire, Leesburg Fire and Pierceton Fire Department.
