Warsaw 3, Mishawaka 0
Warsaw (9-5) opened Northern Lakes Conference play with a big win at Mishawaka 25-21, 25-17, 25-17.
Avery Hales was again all over the court, posting 35 assists, 12 digs and six kills, Kennedy Lauck pounded down nine kills and Kylie Smith dug 15 attempts.
Warsaw won the JV match 25-20, 25-23 behind seven kills and five digs by Delaney Silveus and eight digs and six kills from Clara Porter.
Warsaw capped the class sweep with a 25-16, 25-12 freshman win over the Cavemen. Olivia Devenney had six kills and Claire Reichenback hung 16 assists in the Tiger win.
Wawasee 3, Manchester 0
Wawasee claimed its ninth win of the season with a 25-19, 25-13, 25-19 triumph at Manchester.
Bailey Mayhew powered the Warriors (9-2) with 11 kills and 12 digs and Leslie Vazquez added 14 digs and nine kills. Delaney Hare added six aces and Amanda Allen had 30 assists.
The Warrior JV claimed a 25-22, 25-23 result on the Squires. Talia Kuhl dug nine attempts and Emma Young contributed 17 assists and four aces.
The Lady Warriors completed the sweep in Manchester, taking the freshman game 25-10, 25-7.
Tippecanoe Valley 3, Peru 0
The Vikings moved to 2-0 in the Three Rivers Conference and 3-2 overall after taking care of the visiting Tigers 25-19, 25-17, 25-13. Stats for the contest were not provided.
Triton 3, Knox 1
Triton earned its first win of the Hoosier North Athletic Conference season with a 25-21, 22-25, 25-21, 25-11 win at Knox. The Trojans move to 5-1 on the year and 1-0 in the conference. Triton again had its hitters producing, with Abbey Viers leading the team with 11 kills, closely followed by Addyson Viers at 10 and Lexia Hostrawser at eight. The Viers sisters combined for eight blocks, Hostrawser had five aces, Emma Hepler had 35 assists and 16 digs, and Molly McFarland added 29 digs on the back line.
Triton won the JV matchup two games to one.
