Milford Public Library Welcomes New Board Member
News Release
MILFORD — Milford Public Library welcomed Sally Cline to her first Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, Aug. 17.
Cline is following in her mother’s Milford Public Library footsteps. Julia Myers served on the Board of Trustees for several years.
Cline and her husband, Robert, moved to Milford from Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1972. She has been a patron of the library since 1972, and for a time worked as a sub when a staff member couldn’t be here for their shift. Cline is a retired teacher, she worked for the Wa-Nee school district for 36 years. Cline was asked to return for the 2019-2020 school year and taught for part of the year.
The library looks forward to her experience and wisdom as the newest member of the Board of Trustees.
In other news, the Friends of the Library have organized a silent auction at the library.
Stop by the adult department and check out the beautiful painting by Goshen artist Don Sheline. “Boat Repair” was inspired by a boat owned by the property of Swan Lake Park Village in Fort Myers, Fla. Sheline has generously donated the painting to be auctioned. Bidding is open until the end of September.
