Donald E. Ring,
Donald E. Ring, 95, Claypool, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2020, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. Donald was born June 4, 1925, in Claypool, to Russell and Goldie (Jones) Ring. He was united in marriage to Marian Wiltrout on Nov. 9, 1947, in Walnut Creek Church, Warsaw.
Donald proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII from 1944 to 1946. During his time served, he hauled ammunition and operated an amphibious assault vehicle. He began farming after serving his country. In 1997 he went into business with his son; Kent and formed Maple Shade Farms. He was honored with a Centennial Award in Indianapolis in 2015. Donald retired in 2015 along with his son Kent. He was previously on the board for First National Bank. He was also a member of the American Legion Post # 49 and he was a lifetime member of Walnut Creek Church, Warsaw.
Donald is survived by his wife Marian Ring, of Claypool; sons, Kent (Kim) Ring, of Claypool, Keith (Susan) Ring, of North Manchester; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

A public graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Military Honors will be rendered by American Legion Post 49 and VFW Post 1126.
