Arminta S. ‘Suzie’ McIntosh
She was born on Dec. 3, 1933, in Logan, W. Va. to the late Willie and Zerurua (Bailey) Lewis. She married on Dec. 31, 1974, in Bourbon, to James McIntosh, who preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 2016.
She owned and operated a restaurant for many years in Tippecanoe. She also had worked in restaurants in Bourbon, Etna Green, and Warsaw. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Bourbon. She enjoyed cooking and tending to her flower garden. She always loved and enjoyed time with her family.
Survivors include children, Johnny and wife Ruby Tackett, Tippecanoe, Jerry Lee and wife Jane Tackett, West Minster, SC, Jimmy Tackett, Gary Court, SC, Jackie and husband Jack Hackworth, Tippecanoe, Michael Tackett, Middlebury; step son, Ray James and wife Sherry McIntosh, Warsaw; 17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a sister, Annebelle and husband Donald Justice, Parma, OH.
Preceding her in death were her parents; stepfather, Walter Edmondson; husband, James McIntosh; children, Lonnie Tackett and Ruth Howard; brothers, Tennis, Bud, and Leonard; and sisters, Louraine Bailey and Ruth Stills.
A private graveside service was held in the Tippecanoe Cemetery, Tippecanoe.
The arrangements for Mrs. McIntosh were handled by King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone, Indiana.
