MILFORD — Fall is right around the corner and so is the Milford Public Library’s fall preschool storytime.

Storytime is for ages 3-6. Children are encouraged to listen to fun stories, make a craft and enjoy a snack each week. The library will be offering storytime at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays for seven weeks.

All storytimes will be via Zoom. Sign-up in the Children’s Department beginning Monday, Sept. 14.

Each year, the month of September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month. The library would love for everyone in the Milford community to use the library. The library does the work by purchasing items such as books, e-books, music CDs, DVDs and audiobooks so the community can borrow these items and enjoy them.

This year, the library is giving a gift to those who do not have a card and wish to sign-up in the month of September. If you are a resident or property owner of Van Buren or East Jefferson Township, you pay taxes and that covers the cost of your card. If your child attends Wawasee School Corporation, they also receive a library card for free.
