Warsaw High School Homecoming Parade Candy Drop Zone Details Announced
Press Release
WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools recently announced further details about the Warsaw Community High School homecoming parade, beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25.
Organizers have planned the event with extra safety precautions. Floats will provide candy to spectators along a designated part of the route.
With plenty of green space to socially distance, the candy drop zone will begin at the WCHS soccer field and continue along South Union Street, ending at East Winona Avenue.
The WCHS band will join the parade on West Market Street. The parade will also be broadcast live on the WCHS Facebook page from the Market Street location.
Those wishing to simply enjoy the parade can space out along the remaining route on Market, Indiana, Main and Columbia Streets. This allows everyone the opportunity to safely enjoy this tradition while supporting WCHS students.
