SOUTH WHITLEY — Two Kosciusko County fire departments were called to assist with a house fire in South Whitley.

At approximately 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, Pierceton and Sidney-Jackson Township Fire Departments were both called to assist with a fire at 2425 S. CR 950W, South Whitley.

Cleveland Township Fire Department, South Whitley and Richland Township Fire Department, Larwill, responded to the scene.

Silver Lake and Claypool Fire Departments were both placed on standby for Sidney-Jackson Township Fire Department.

Parkview EMS and Whitley County Sheriff’s Department also assisted at the scene.

No further information is available at this time.
